Might be a little hard to make out, but that's Tedy Bruschi (Thanks to reader Will DiTullo for the head's up) at the podium there to your left.

Look hard, and you'll see him accepting the 2010 Patriots Award from the Boston Athletic Association, given to annually to a figure in the local sports community for outstanding charity work in conjunction with the marathon.

Bruschi runs Tedy's Team, a group of marathoners put together by the ex-Patriot linebacker to raise money for the American Stroke Association. You can go here to give.

Of course, the Boston Marathon annually brings you a ton of different ways to help make a difference, and so I'll throw it out there too that I'll be running on Monday (my second one) for Joslin Diabetes Center. That cause is one Vince Wilfork feels strongly about and later in the week, the newly-resigned Pro Bowler will be running his annual Draft Day Fundraiser out at Pinz Bowl in Milford to raise money for the JDC.

OK, so there you go. We'll turn it back to football now.
