Amon.jpgThe Patriots have signed defensive lineman Amon Gordon. Gordon, who is 6 feet 2 inches and 305 pounds, didn't play last season after the Philadelphia Eagles waived him in August.

Gordon entered the league in 2004 when the Cleveland Browns drafted him in the fifth round out of Stanford. He has played with Denver, Baltimore, and Tennessee.

In 2004, Gordon had 10 tackles in six games in his rookie season. He was on injured reserve his second season and waived by the Browns in March 2006.

Gordon was signed by Denver but was released, sitting out the 2006 season. Denver re-signed Gordon the following season. He made the 53-man roster, picking up 10 tackles and starting four games.

Gordon was waived again and was signed to the Baltimore practice squad and then the Ravens' 53-man roster. He was with the Ravens for training camp in 2008 before he was waived and signed to the Titans practice squad. He was later signed to the 53-man roster and played in two games.
