Add one more log to the fire to stoke the Patriots-Jets rivalry.

Veteran running back LaDainian Tomlinson, who signed a two-year deal with New York after San Diego cut ties with the former All-Pro, told reporters at the Jets' New Jersey facility today that he is looking forward to the chance to face his nemesis, New England.

"It's going to be fun," he said. "The Patriots have always been one of them teams that it's hard for me to swallow that pill of losing to them, so it's going to fun to play them twice a year. And it's going to be one of my main goals to beat them twice."

Of course, he is in the division now, so it's his duty to say he wants to beat the Pats and Bills and Dolphins twice a season.

But we're thinking Tomlinson doesn't harbor quite the same bad feelings for Buffalo and Miami that he does for New England -- we all remember Tomlinson's "no class" rant on the Patriots after the Chargers' home playoff loss in the 2006 postseason.
