Today's "draft day" ... Only this time, you won't get hours on top of hours of hype, live coverage, and aftermath reaction.

The NFL holds its supplemental draft this afternoon, and four players have declared.

Brigham Young RB Harvey Unga headlines the group. We know the Patriots have done their diligence on Unga, and you got a look at Unga here in our Sunday Notes, with some help from his college position coach.

Most of the league was at Unga's Pro Day earlier this month, and he's probably the only surefire draft pick in this group. Wes Bunting of the National Football Post provided a pretty thorough scouting report on the ex-Cougar yesterday.

Illinois defensive tackle Joshua Price-Brent is another interesting prospect, and could be an option for the Patriots team that is always looking to add quality and depth at the 5-technique end and nose spots. Northwestern State running back Quentin Castille and Truman State running back Vanness Emokpae have also declared, but both are longshots to be drafted.

Here's how it works ... If you want a player, you put in a bid at a certain level -- first round, second, third, or so on. Then, the team that bid highest is awarded the player, with the draft order from April giving priority in the event that multiple clubs bid the same level of draft pick. If you win the player, you surrendered the corresponding pick in next April's draft.

We'll keep you posted on that.
