Moss tabs Joel Segal as agent
About two months ago, Randy Moss publicly declared his intention to find a new agent to maximize his off-field possibilities.
Today, that search ended.
Moss has hired high-profile player rep Joel Segal as his new agent, to replace long-time confidant Tim DiPiero.
Moss becomes the third Patriot repped by Segal, joining Brandon Tate and Gerard Warren. Segal represents a slew of big name clients, including Chris Johnson, Darren Sharper, Reggie Bush and Michael Vick, and has long been a big-time player in the NFL.
As most of you know, the 33-year-old Moss is entering a contract year for just the second time in his career -- the first was 2007.
It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out with the Patriots rife with young, unproven players at Moss' position, and Welker coming back from ACL surgery.
ESPN's Adam Schefter was first to report the news.
