We've covered the Patriots' impressive Week 2 showing in the preseason. And now that the rest of the division is done with their games, there's more out there to overreact to. So let's take a look ...

Chad Henne was near perfect last night in Jacksonville, throwing for 151 yards and two touchdowns on 11-of-14 passing (which included two drops). The Dolphins defense, though, was less than perfect. Miami won the game, 27-26, and led by a healthy 24-12 margin at the end of the first half.

The Jets, meanwhile, got into what Rex Ryan termed a "pillow fight," edging Carolina, 9-3. Their first offense was held to 33 total yards, and Damien Woody said afterward that it was like the group was "in quicksand." The defense, on the other hand, was its dominant self, even without Darrelle Revis.

Finally, the Bills showed well against the mighty Colts Thursday in Toronto, scoring a 34-21 win. Chan Gailey, a pretty unpopular hire seven months ago, seems to be gaining traction in Buffalo. Also, the club's patchwork offensive line seems to be doing OK. And if you don't know about C.J. Spiller yet, know this: It looks like Buddy Nix and Co. knew what they were doing when they drafted him ninth overall.

Hopefully, this attempt to blog on the way back from a wedding through an aircard on the Mass. Pike at 80 miles per hour works (No, I'm not driving) . . . And if not, well, then you won't be reading this anyway.
