Madden 11 sees a championship in Patriots' future

FOXBOROUGH -- Madden 11 is out and apparently this is like the second or third coming for video gamers. But for a Patriots fan, he or she may be more interested in the results of the game's simulated 2010 season.

Jon Robinson of ESPN.com played through a simulated season three times and came up with the same result -- Patriots defeat the Green Bay Packers for the Super Bowl title. You can read Robinson's story here.

Skeptical? Other EA Sports games like NHL 10 and 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa both simulated championships for the Chicago Blackhawks and Spain. Both teams won their respective championships in the real world.

We will have to wait and see how reality plays out for the Patriots.
