FOXBOROUGH -- Not much to report from this morning's walkthrough, but here are a few observations.

*Linebacker Derrick Burgess made his first official appearance today, participating in the team's walkthrough this morning.

*Ron Brace may be a step closer to returning as he lined up on the defensive line in the walkthrough. But we are checking to see if that officially impacts his status.

*Also, receiver Buddy Farnham was back on the field, but there has not been an official announcement about his return.

*A couple of fingers taped up on Tom Brady's hand.

*A few players not spotted on the field include Ross Ventrone, Torry Holt and Bret Lockett.

The team returns at 2:30 for a practice that will be open to the public.
