FOXBOROUGH -- Greetings from Foxborough. Today, the Patriots will hold a walkthrough at 10 a.m. that is closed to the public but will return with a practice this afternoon at 2:30.

Today's afternoon session is open to the public. The final public practice will be tomorrow at 10 a.m. Then the Patriots will leave for Atlanta for a couple of joint practices with the Falcons before their preseason game Thursday.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick just wrapped up his press conference moments ago.
A few highlights include comments on Tom Brady's banged up finger, a hypothetical contract situation and a strong camp for Randy Moss.

*After reports that Tom Brady banged up his finger against the Saints, Belichick didn't seem too concerned. "I don't think it's life threatening," Belichick said.

*Belichick didn't directly address any issues that may concern guard Logan Mankins. On Friday, the Globe's Albert Breer reported the team is facing a deadline to notify Mankins of any intent to add him to the roster exempt list.

Belichick said he wasn't sure of any deadlines and that he didn't "think it affects any of our players." When asked specifically about Mankins, Belichick said, "He's not under contract."

*As Randy Moss enters his 13th season, it seems Moss is in the midst of a strong camp and Belichick can't argue that point. "Yeah, I would agree that," he said.

*With Ty Warren out for the season with a hip injury, Gerard Warren and Damione Lewis are making progress, trying to learn a new system. "Both players have done a good job, but we have along way to go as a team," Belichick said. "That goes for every individual and every coach, so we're a long way from where we need to be, but a lot further ahead than we were two weeks ago at this time or one week ago at this time."

*Will Ron Brace return to practice today? "We'll see. ... If he's ready. I think it's day to day."
