FOXBOROUGH -- The following players were not spotted at the first official day of practice for the season: Terrence Wheatley and Nick Kaczur. Kyle Arrington, Laurence Maroney, Jermaine Cunningham and Ron Brace were in shorts.

Rookie tight end Aaron Hernandez, who did not play in the last two preseason games, was back at practice today.

Also offensive lineman Quinn Ojinnaka was not at practice. He is suspended for the season opener and cannot be at the facility at all this week.
