The Patriots announced today they have signed CB Tony Carter, LB Tyrone McKenzie and CB Prince Miller to the practice squad. The team has released TE Jeron Mastrud from the practice squad.

Carter waived by the Denver Broncos on Aug. 30 after playing his rookie season with the team after a college career at Florida State. He was elevated to the Broncos' active roster for the last three games of the 2009 season. He had one tackle and a fumble recovery.

Miller signed as a rookie free agent with Baltimore in May. He played at Georgia in college and was waived by the Ravens on Sept. 5. He had 126 tackles and returned 28 punts at Georgia.
