The Patriots had big questions on both lines coming into the season.

After one week? So far, so good. The Patriots ran the ball, stopped the run, and protected Tom Brady, and the folks at Pro Football Focus have taken noticed. The very thorough PFF guys have put together their "All-Week 1" team, and guard Stephen Neal and nose tackle Vince Wilfork are New England's two reps on the list.

On big Vince, PFF said ... "Wilfork had an exceptional day (4 total pressures) as he was his usual immovable self on the Patriots line." Here's a more comprehensive review from the site of Bengals-Patriots, with plaudits going to Devin McCourty and Alge Crumpler, and some criticism landing at Dan Koppen's feet.

Line play should be big again this week (it always is, though), with the Jets bringing strength on both lines to the table.
