FOXBOROUGH -- Patriots rookie linebacker Brandon Spikes addressed the media today for the first time since the season began and said he is settling in on the Patriots roster.

Spikes also made his first public comments about the sex tape that emerged in August on the internet.

"I definitely was embarrassed, but we already addressed that issue so I’m just trying to move on," Spikes said.

Spikes was the Patriots' second-round pick out of Florida and has been a consistent part of the Patriots defense. Spikes said there have been a number of adjustments but he is picking up on what is expected of him.

"It’s been kind of like a big learning process, but I think it’s coming along pretty smooth so far. Every day is a step I need to take to try to get better," he said.
