Most of New England's first introduction to Rob Gronkowski was his exuberant celebration with his family at Radio City Music Hall when the super-sized tight end was drafted by the Patriots 42nd overall in April. His excitement at the time was certainly understandable, but Gronkowski is just a fun-loving spirit who almost always has a smile on his face in the Pats' locker room.

The 6-foot-6, 264 pound Buffalo-area native is one of five boys, two of whom are also in the NFL -- Dan is also a tight end, with the Broncos, and Chris is a fullback with the Cowboys. Another of his brothers, Gordie, was a 2006 draft pick of the Los Angeles Angels. Their father, Gordon, was an offensive lineman at Syracuse and great-grandfather Ignatius was a member of the 1924 U.S. Olympic cycling team.

rob-gronkowski.jpgFirst car: A Ford Explorer. It was just a car that I fit in and it was one of the cheaper ones.

Favorite TV show: Entourage.

Favorite meal: My mom's chicken souffle. I don't even know what's in it. I know there's chicken in it...only my mom knows how to make it.

Pre-game ritual: I don't really have one.

Place I want to visit but haven't yet: Cancun, Mexico, the Bahamas, or whatever else I hear that's good. Oh, I do have a ritual -- my oldest brother always gives me a text message before every game [what do they say?] Just...brother stuff (laughs).

ivan-drago.jpgFavorite athlete in another sport: Shaq. I'm real excited (he's with the Celtics).

First job: Newspaper boy. Me and my brothers all did it when we were younger -- we did the Buffalo News; that's what we handed out.

Favorite breakfast cereal: Oh, yeah. Like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, but it depends - you've gotta switch them up because sometimes they get old. Lucky Charms are great, so you eat those straight for a week then you go to Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Reese's Puffs, Fruity Pebbles, Cocoa Pebbles, Apple Jacks -- I eat all the good ones.

If they made a movie about my life...Ivan Drago, the guy who played Ivan Drago (would play me). He looks just like me. It would be like the movie "Jackass." That would be a cool movie.
