300revis.jpgJets cornerback Darrelle Revis got Round 2 of his showdown with Randy Moss off to a rollicking start today.

Just hours after Moss was traded to the Vikings, Revis made comments about Moss's effort in the Patriots-Jets game on Sept. 19.

"In the second half, you could tell he was putting his foot on the brakes," Revis said, according to ESPNNewYork.com. "I mean, everybody knows that's Randy. Sometimes he plays 100 percent, sometimes he doesn't."

Of course, how Revis acquired his intel on the matter is suspect. He missed the second half of that game with a hamstring injury, and claimed he watched the second half in a trainer's room. However, he's expected to be back in the Jets' lineup when they face the Vikings on Monday night.

Revis's comments echoed similar sentiments that two Carolina Panthers expressed after the Panthers-Patriots game last season. Accusations of dogging it have followed Moss at every career stop, and in the offseason, Revis called Moss a "slouch" in an interview.

Moss responded that Revis's comment motivated him to work harder to prepare for facing Revis, and in the Patriots-Jets game, each player had his moments. Revis defended several passes targeted for Moss, but Moss also hauled in a bomb from Tom Brady for a touchdown near the end of the first half.
