FOXBOROUGH -- Defensive lineman Gerard Warren returned to practice as the Patriots practiced on the game field at Gillette Stadium today.

QB Tom Brady and rookie CB Devin McCourty also were present. TE Aaron Hernandez was not seen at the start of practice. Others not seen were defensive linemen Myron Pryor, Ron Brace and Mike Wright.

The participation report will be out later today.
