NFL commissioner Roger Goodell held an hour-long Q&A session with 150 Patriots season-ticket holders tonight, as he and New England owner Robert Kraft hosted the fans in the movie theater at the Hall at Patriot Place.

After talking to fans, Goodell spent a few minutes with reporters, and was asked about the comments Jets special teams coach Mike Westhoff made on Chicago radio last week, when he said that the Patriots make a wall on the sideline during punt returns as a means of impeding the progress of players.

Westhoff may have broken a league rule for implying that another team was taking part in some improper behavior without producing proof.

"It’s something that we’re looking into, our staff has been looking into and I expect to get a report within the next day or so," Goodell said.

Could Westhoff be punished?

"If there’s a violation of the policy," he said.
