Massachusetts native returns to Patriots practice squad

FOXBOROUGH -- Wide receiver Buddy Farnham has returned to the Patriots as a member of the practice squad.

Farnham, who is an Andover native, was with the Patriots as a rookie free agent out of Brown during training camp but was released most recently on Sept. 4.

Farnham, who is 6 feet and 185 pounds, was the Ivy League Player of the Year his final year at Brown. He ended his final season at Brown with 1,003 receiving yards and 74 receptions.
