Patriots place G Stephen Neal on injured reserve

FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots placed guard Stephen Neal on injured reserve today, ending the season for the offensive lineman. Neal has been hampered by a shoulder injury and has missed three consecutive games with the injury.

Dan Connolly has been playing in Neal's absence this season.

The Patriots practice report for today also includes Tom Brady (right shoulder, foot). Defensive end Myron Pryor (back), cornerback Jonathan Wilhite (hip) and defensive end Mike Wright (neck, concussion) all did not participate.
