sb45seat.jpgGreetings -

Welcome to Cowboys Stadium and Super Bowl XLV, where the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers will kick off just before 6:30 p.m. EST.

This picture is the view from auxiliary press tables section 329, row 5, seat 23 - my seat. Colleague Monique Walker is directly to my left, while Globe columnist Bob Ryan and NFL writer Greg Bedard are in the main press box.

With about two hours until kickoff, players from both teams are currently on the field for early warmups, some in their game pants but many in sweats and cleats, trying to loosen up, maybe work out some butterflies and get a sense of how fast the turf is here at this massive facility.

We will be offering updates throughout the evening, and Greg is holding a chat right now if you'd like to talk about this game or maybe Tom Brady's selection as the 2010 NFL MVP.

If you're curious, my prediction is Packers 27-24, and Monique is saying Packers 24-21.

Enjoy the game!
