Arrington gets ERFA tender, changes agents

Patriots cornerback Kyle Arrington, an exclusive-rights free agent, has received his tender from the team. The one-year contract is worth $480,000.

ERFA players have no more than two accrued seasons of service and unlike restricted free agents, they cannot get offer sheets from other teams, only their original team. Arrington still could come to a longer-term contract agreement with New England.

The Maryland native became a surprise starter last year when Darius Butler struggled; he recorded 71 tackles and his first career interception.

Also, according to the NFL Players' Association website, Arrington has changed agents.

Arrington is now represented by Richard Kopelman and Sean Stellato -- the same agents who represent his teammate, Gary Guyton. Kopelman is based out of Georgia, while Stellato is a Massachusetts native - after graduating from Salem High, he played football and basketball at Marist College.

He was previously repped by Minnesota-based Blake Baratz.
