Patriots tight end Alge Crumpler underwent shoulder surgery in late January for a "significant" injury to the joint. He is currently rehabbing the shoulder but it is unclear when he'll be back at full strength.

Crumpler, who signed a two-year deal to come to New England in 2010, played much of the season with the injury.
