Report: Brady agrees to be part of potential lawsuit against NFL

According to a report by Sports Illustrated's Jim Trotter, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has agreed to be one of the plaintiffs if the NFL Players Association decides to file a lawsuit against the NFL in the event of a lockout.

The two sides will continue to talk Friday as they try to reach a new collective bargaining agreement. They agreed today to extend the current CBA by 24 hours to allow them to continue negotiating.

But the players' union plans to sue the league if the CBA expires and the owners lock out players. Brady, Colts quarterback Peyton Manning and Saints quarterback Drew Brees -- three of the league's most high profile players -- will be among several named as plaintiffs in the NFLPA's potential lawsuit.
