FOXBOROUGH -- Last night, when the Patriots drafted Arkansas quarterback Ryan Mallett in the third round, NFL network analyst and former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner sent Tom Brady a text message asking him about the selection. Brady, according to Warner, was ambivalent.

"I did text Tom Brady after this pick and he wanted me to know for sure that he was planning on playing 10 more years,” Warner said.

Just a day prior, Brady, who will be 34 in August, told fans at a promotional event for Under Armour that he loves it when the Patriots pick offensive lineman.
