Here is what the Patriots did in the second and third rounds of the NFL draft in list form, including the team's trade transactions.

Round 2

- No. 33 overall pick -- The Patriots selected Virginia CB Ras-I Dowling.

- No. 56 overall pick -- The Patriots selected Cal RB Shane Vereen.

- No. 60 overall pick -- The Patriots traded this pick to the Houston Texans for the No. 73 overall pick (LSU RB Stevan Ridley) and a fifth round selection (No. 138 overall). Houston selected Miami CB Brandon Harris with the pick.

Round 3

- No. 73 overall pick -- The Patriots selected Louisiana State University running back Stevan Ridley. The Patriots acquired this pick after a trade with Houston (see Round 2).

- No. 74 overall pick -- The Patriots selected Arkansas quarterback Ryan Mallett.

- No. 92 overall pick -- The Patriots traded this pick to the Oakland Raiders along with their fourth round pick (No. 125 overall) for the Raiders' seventh rounder (No. 219 overall) and their 2012 second rounder. The Raiders pick Louisiana State University tackle Joe Barksdale at this spot.
