Green-Ellis signs along with three others

FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots announced some roster moves this evening, including the signing of running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis.

Team also signed veteran free agents center Chris Morris and lineman Jonathan Compas, and undrafted free agent running back Richard Medlin.

Running back Thomas Clayton and offensive lineman Mike Berry were released.

Morris (6-4, 305 pounds) worked out for the team on Tuesday. He played four years with the Raiders, and one with the Panthers.

Compas (6-3, 300) entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Raiders. He was released by the Buccaneers Sept. 24 and was out of football.

Medlin (5-11, 200), who is 24 years old, played in 10 games for Fayetteville in 2010 and gained 772 yards with five touchdowns.
