FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots hinted they would add another player to the roster this afternoon. Turns out that player is offensive lineman Mike Berry.

The Patriots signed Berry as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn July 27. He was on the non-football injury list and released Aug. 2. He is listed as 6 feet 3 inches and 316 pounds.

The Patriots roster is not at the maximum 90 players. The team will have to cut the roster to 80 by 4 p.m. Aug. 30.
