Defensive lineman Landon Cohen was released by the New England Patriots today.

Cohen, who is 6-3 and 300 pounds, signed with the Patriots last week. Cohen signed with the Patriots in December but was cut after training camp on Sept. 3.

The move means there is an open spot on the 53-man roster to fill.
