The Patriots are in full pads and practicing inside Gillette Stadium today as they near their regular-season opener on Monday night against Miami.

On the plus side, seven players returned to practice: WR Taylor Price, RB Stevan Ridley, CB Kyle Arrington, RB Shane Vereen, LB Jeff Tarpinian, DE Mark Anderson, and DE/LB Jermaine Cunningham.

The only player not at practice was RT Sebastian Vollmer.

As they are in full pads today, it is the only time the Patriots will be able to do so this week - remember, under the new CBA rules, teams can only practice in full pads 14 times during the regular season, once per week during the first 11 weeks of the season.
