By far the worst news on today's injury report is that Mike Wright missed practice because of a concussion. The defensive lineman, who has become a well-respected and versatile performer in his six-plus years with New England, was knocked out of the Patriots' game against Indianapolis last November with a concussion and did not play another snap for the season.

He left the game Monday night in Miami but there was no press box announcement stating what was keeping him off the field. Given how long he struggled with post-concussion symptoms last year, this is not a good sign, and now there has to be concern about Wright's long-term health and career.

For the Patriots
Did not practice

CB Leigh Bodden - back
C Dan Koppen - fibula
DL Mike Wright - concussion

Limited participation
S Josh Barrett - thumb
LB Dane Fletcher - thumb
LB Gary Guyton - hamstring
WR Taylor Price - hamstring
OL Sebastian Vollmer - back
OL Ryan Wendell - calf

Full participation
DL Myron Pryor - groin

For the Chargers
Did not practice

DE Luis Castillo - tibia
ILB Jonas Mouton - shoulder

Full participation
WR Vincent Brown - hamstring
WR Patrick Crayton - ankle
