The Patriots are holding their final practice of the week on the game field inside Gillette Stadium currently, and there is good news and bad news to report (isn't there always?).
On the plus side, Patrick Chung was out at practice with a cast on his injured right hand that extended to his wrist. We only saw six minutes of stretching and jogging, so a judgment can't be made on his readiness or participation - that will have to wait until the Patriots release their injury report later this afternoon. Chung did lead the sprints, as he always does, so that hasn't changed.
In the locker room, fellow safety Josh Barrett told colleague Julian Benbow that he's "confident" that Chung will play against the Bills.
On the negative side, Albert Haynesworth missed his second consecutive day of practice; yesterday, the Patriots reported that he is dealing with a back issue.
Also missing from practice: Sebastian Vollmer (back), Aaron Hernandez (knee), Dan Gronkowski (hamstring) and Mike Wright (concussion).
