4th quarter: Patriots 31, Raiders 13 -- Tom Brady found Deion Branch in the back of the end zone for a 4-yard TD. He passes Joe Montana with 274 career TD passes with that one. He also has tied Peyton Manning for consecutive games with at least two touchdowns with 13.

The Patriots' drive was 80 yards in eight plays in 4:43.

End of the third quarter: Patriots 24, Raiders 13 -- The Patriots are leading with a more balanced game than usual this season. BenJarvus Green-Ellis and Stevan Ridley have combined for 112 yards on 14 carries.

11:07 3rd quarter: Patriots 24, Raiders 10 -- Stevan Ridley showed a bit of a burst, running away from a litany of Oakland defenders en route to a 33-yard TD. It was his first career rushing touchdown in a regular season game.

Ridley's run capped an 81-yard drive that lasted seven plays in 3:53.

15:00 3rd quarter: Patriots 17, Raiders 10 -- Third quarter getting underway. Patriots receiving.

At half: Patriots 17, Raiders 10 -- Tom Brady is 8 of 17 for 121 yards and touchdown while BenJarvus Green-Ellis has eight rushes for 39 yards and one touchdown.

Wes Welker has three catches for 60 yards and a touchdown.

Oakland's Darren McFadden has eight carries for 57 yards.

End of the 2nd quarter: Patriots 17, Raiders 10 -- The Patriots went to their 2-minute offense with Tom Brady connecting twice with Chad Ochocinco to help the Patriots get down to the Raiders' 26-yard line. But three straight incompletions led to a 44-yard field goal by Stephen Gostkowski.

Jerod Mayo, who went down with an injury on the last Raiders drive, has a knee injury and his return is questionable.

Danny Woodhead, who is the typical 2-minute offense running back for the Patriots, also suffered an injury. BenJarvus Green-Ellis took his place to finish the half.

2:15 2nd quarter: Patriots 14, Raiders 10 -- The Raiders' Jason Campbell was looking in the end zone and apparently thought the Patriots' Patrick Chung was a Raider too. Chung got an easy interception on a play in which no Raider was anywhere nearby.

7:44 2nd quarter: Patriots 14, Raiders 10 -- BenJarvus Green-Ellis ran in a 1-yard TD as the Patriots retook the lead.

Key play of the drive was Tom Brady's back shoulder pass to Wes Welker for 21 yards, bringing the Patriots down to the Raiders' 1-yard line. At first, the catch was ruled out of bounds. But the referees made sure to get it right, reversing the call without much protest for Belichick and co.

The Patriots went 64 yards down the field in six plays in 2:36.

Green-Ellis' TD was the 21st of his career, tying Antowain Smith and Laurence Maroney for eighth in franchise history.

10:14 2nd quarter: Raiders 10, Patriots 7 -- Kyle Love has an ankle injury and his return is questionable.

10:20 2nd quarter: Raiders 10, Patriots 7 -- Michael Bush punched in a 1-yard TD after the Raiders raced down the field for 88 yards in six plays to take the lead.

Darren McFadden had a monster 41-yard run to get things started and then Jason Campbell followed up by scrambling 17 yards and hitting Kevin Boss for 23 yards.

13:44 2nd quarter: Patriots 7, Raiders 3 -- Richard Seymour is pretty pumped up for the Raiders. He jumped a count to get another hit on Tom Brady. Unfortunately for him, it was another flag on the Raiders. Stevan Ridley broke loose for a 22-yard gain. But the Raiders did a good enough job up front to cause problems for the Patriots and force them to punt after only six plays.

End of the 1st quarter: Patriots 7, Raiders 3 -- Shane Lechler pinned the Patriots at their own 4-yard line after the Raiders' offense was stumped. Raiders QB Jason Campbell tried to scramble for a first down but was stopped two yards short.

4:59 1st quarter: Patriots 7, Raiders 3 -- Kyle Love was injured on the last play. He was able to stand up on his own but walked gingerly off the field. We'll have to update you more about his status when we get more info.

6:07 1st quarter: Patriots 7, Raiders 3 -- An awkward takedown of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady on a play that was blow dead spurred the Patriots' 80-yard drive that resulted in a 15-yard TD pass to Wes Welker.

The noise at O.co Coliseum is already affecting the Patriots. They had to burn a timeout after one play in the game. Also, former Patriots Richard Seymour recorded a pressure on Brady on the first play of the game.

Brady tied Joe Montana for TD passes with 273 in his career on the strike to Welker.

The drive spanned 4:19 in 80 yards over nine plays.

10:26 1st quarter: Raiders 3, Patriots 0 -- The Raiders moved down field pretty swimmingly. Raiders QB Jason Campbell made key passes to Darren McFadden, who was spread out wide, and tight end Kevin Boss. But a couple of nice defensive plays from Devin McCourty (a tackle in the backfield) and Antwaun Molden (coverage on Darius Heyward-Bey) helped quell the drive. The Raiders settled for a 28-yard FG from Sebastian Janikowski. The drive was 50 yards in 9 plays.

15:00 1st quarter -- The Patriots are kicking off to start. Game on.
