Five Patriots were the top vote-getters in the AFC at their positions in Pro Bowl fan balloting, which ended on Monday.

Quarterback Tom Brady, receiver Wes Welker, tight end Rob Gronkowski, guard Logan Mankins, and defensive end Andre Carter all had the highest totals for their positions.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers received the most total votes (1,581,982), and Brady was second overall (1,454,311). Welker was fifth overall.

The fan ballots count for a third of a player's final result. Player and coach balloting account for the other two thirds. The final Pro Bowl teams will be announced Dec. 27 at 7 p.m. on NFL Network.

The Pro Bowl is Jan. 29 in Honolulu.
