FOXBOROUGH -- Safety Patrick Chung, who has missed the past six games with a right foot injury, met with the media after today's practice at Gillette Stadium, and answered questions about his health, his absence, and whether he'll play Saturday against the Dolphins.

"It's a day-to-day process," Chung said about his injury rehab. "Just keep working, keep doing whatever I have to do to get better. Sometimes it feels good, sometimes it doesn't."

Chung's return could provide a boost to a depleted secondary that has used offensive players as fill-ins. He's practiced occasionally during the past six weeks, which led to speculation that he'd be back in uniform soon. As of yet, he hasn't been deemed healthy enough.

Was talking to the media in the locker room a good sign that he might be playing Saturday?

"You can think what you want of that," Chung said. "I feel good and I'm working hard."

How has he spent the past six weeks?

"Watching us win. I wasn't a part of it, but we're winning, We're a team, we're not individuals here. We're winning."
