The Patriots have brought DB Sterling Moore back to the team, signing him to the practice squad spot that opened when Malcolm Williams was promoted before Sunday's game.

It has been a roller coaster season for Moore, the undrafted rookie out of Southern Methodist. He was originally signed by his hometown Raiders, then cut from their practice squad and picked up by the Pats.

Moore made his NFL debut last month when he started against the Jets; it was the first of three straight starts he made at safety. He was a reserve against the Colts and then released on Saturday to make room for Williams.
