The Patriots are once again practicing inside the Dana-Farber Fieldhouse today, though unlike yesterday, players are in shells (soft pads).

Colleague Michael Whitmer says three players were not spotted: BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Aaron Hernandez, and Sebastian Vollmer.

Vollmer's absence is not a surprise; however, the absence of Green-Ellis and Hernandez is. We'll get an injury report around 4 p.m., so we may get a little more insight then.

Patrick Chung was back at practice for a second straight day after sitting out all of last week.

Also, the Patriots officially announced the signing of DB Vincent Fuller; he was at practice and wearing No. 26.
