Wes Welker says there is no problem with his wrist

FOXBOROUGH -- Wes Welker may have been spotted wearing something that looked like a brace on his wrist recently, but the receiver said he has no idea what people are talking about.

Welker said today his wrist is "fine."

"I never wore a brace, so I'm not sure where that's coming from," Welker said. "I don't know. Whatever they think, they think. I'm just trying to play some ball."

When asked if it was a soft cast, Welker said it was just "a little lining."

Welker has been limited at practice due to a knee injury.
