300megatron.jpgDetroit Lions receiver Calvin Johnson will be featured on the cover of the Madden 13 NFL video game, EA Sports announced on Wednesday.

"Megatron" defeated Panthers quarterback Cam Newton in the final round of voting. More than 19 million votes were cast in the six-week, bracket-style tournament to determine the player pictured on the game box.

The game will go on sale Aug. 28.
