FOXBOROUGH - The Patriots' rookies are probably still going through the paces inside the bubble, but the media's access is over.

We saw about 20 minutes and one drill. The entire practice was open in years prior.

So there's not much to report. We saw the rookies go through stretching and some agility drills in T-shirts and shorts (no helmets), and then we saw the defensive linemen/edge players hit the sled about four times each. Can't really extrapolate much from that.

There were three tryout players but their names have not been released.

Returning first-year players that took part are OLB Markell Carter, QB Mark Hartline, RB Eric Kettani, K Chris Koepplin, and DEs Aaron Lavarias and Alex Silvestro.
