Former Patriots receiver Chad Ochocinco is trying to remain positive despite the circumstances.

The recently unemployed receiver took to Twitter to comment on his release today from the Patriots.

Thoroughly enjoyed the oppurtunity [sic] to play for the "Patriot" organization... fans were [expletive] wicked awesome, I wish all of you the best...

Also responding to Ochocinco's release was his fiancee Evelyn Lozada. She gave him a little jab in her tweet, though.

Aww baby you got cut @ochocinco I got your back! I'm the bread winner now, which means I make the rules!

Former Patriots defensive lineman Andre Carter took to Twitter as well to lament Ochocinco's release.

great having you as a teammate. God bless you bruh. Best of luck to you and your family.

Meanwhile, Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson was already plotting on creating a new tandem in Western New York.

OG @Ochocinco tell ya agent to set that up with The #BillsMafia. Ya Field Swag was Contained a Whole Season. Come TurnUp wit us in BuffCity.
