Logan Mankins returns to Patriots practice

FOXBOROUGH -- Logan Mankins is in uniform for Patriots practice Sunday, an indication the starting left guard will come off New England's physically unable to perform (PUP) list.

Mankins, a four-time Pro Bowler, underwent offseason surgery to repair a torn ACL, and was on the field for Sunday's shells and shorts practice six months after suffering the injury in the Super Bowl and subsequently finishing the game.
