Ridley, Vereen, Welker not spotted

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- As the Patriots get ready to take on the New York Giants in their final preseason game, it appears they'll be without running backs Stevan Ridley and Shane Vereen.

Both players were not spotted during pregame warmups. Also not spotted were safety Patrick Chung, LB Brandon Spikes, LB Tracy White, OL Nick McDonald, OL, Matt Kopa, TE Visanthe Shiancoe, and WR Wes Welker.

Vereen was hobbled after Friday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Shiancoe (unknown) and Chung (shoulder) are also nursing injuries.
