BALTIMORE -- Justin Tucker kicked a 27-yard field goal as time expired to give the Ravens a measure of revenge for last season's AFC Championship loss with a dramatic 31-30 victory Sunday night.

The Patriots fell to 1-2 as Joe Flacco orchestrated an eight-play, 70-yard drive with 1:55 left to set Tucker up for the winning field goal.

1:55 4th quarter: Patriots 30, Ravens 28 -- The fans here at M&T Bank Stadium have gone to a full-fledged explicit chant, unhappy with the officials after two costly penalties on the Ravens. CB Lardarius Webb was flagged for illegal contact on Wes Welker, negating an interception, and then the Ravens' bench was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct after giving the officials too much lip service. A big sack on Tom Brady by Haloti Ngata and Dannell Ellerbee spurred the Patriots to punt. The Ravens have 80 yards of field to go with 1:55 left and one timeout.

4:01 4th quarter: Patriots 30, Ravens 28 -- Brandon Spikes was called for a crucial holding call within the Patriots' 10-yard line, giving the Ravens life on what would have been a huge sack by Kyle Love and Chandler Jones. On the very next play, Joe Flacco hit Torrey Smith for a 5-yard touchdown to cap an 8-play, 92-yard drive.

Flacco was 6 of 7 for 76 yards on the drive.

Kyle Arrington was shaken up on the drive, replaced for a few plays by Marquice Cole.

7:36 4th quarter: Patriots 30, Ravens 21 -- Brandon Lloyd limped off the field and was replaced by Matthew Slater on the Patriots' last drive. The Patriots were forced to punt after Dannell Ellerbe blew up a running play on a blitz for a 4-yard loss.

10:50 4th quarter: Patriots 30, Ravens 21 -- On a fourth-and-1 at the Patriots 34, Patrick Chung knifed through to the Ravens backfield and tackled Ray Rice for no gain, giving the Patriots the ball right back.

14:14 4th quarter: Patriots 30, Ravens 21 -- Stephen Gostkowski kicked a 29-yard field goal as the Patriots went up nine points on the Ravens to start the fourth quarter.

The Patriots capitalized on a 13-play, 78-yard drive after forcing the Ravens to punt, likely putting this game out of reach for their AFC rivals.

End of the 3d quarter: Patriots 27, Ravens 21 -- The Patriots are marching toward what is possibly a game-winning drive after three quarters. Deion Branch took vicious hit to the head by Ed Reed. And Kellen Winslow caught his first pass as a Patriot. The Patriots are in the Ravens' red zone.

5:10 3d quarter: Patriots 27, Ravens 21 -- Devin McCourty broke up a deep pass to Torrey Smith on 3d-and-15 as the Patriots finally forced the Ravens to punt.

6:48 3d quarter: Patriots 27, Ravens 21 -- Danny Woodhead managed to plow his way to a 3-yard touchdown as the Patriots marched 80 yards in 4:48 on a 12-play drive to retake the lead.

Tom Brady connected with Brandon Lloyd twice for 19 yards on the drive while Woodhead rushed five times for 18 yards.

11:36 3d quarter: Ravens 21, Patriots 20 -- Ray Rice had a fairly large hole for a 7-yard touchdown run after Ravens QB Joe Flacco connected with Torrey Smith for two passes for 43 yards to get them into the red zone.

It was an 8-play, 80-yard drive to start the third quarter in only 3:24.

Also of note, Patriots receiver Julian Edelman went to the locker room with trainers due to a hand injury. His return is questionable.

15:00 3d quarter: Patriots 20, Ravens 14 -- The third quarter is underway and the Ravens have the ball to start.

End of the 2d quarter: Patriots 20, Ravens 14 -- With a little less than two minutes to work with, Tom Brady methodically worked his magic, driving the Patriots 81 yards on nine plays, culminating with a 7-yard touchdown pass to Julian Edelman with two seconds left in the half. It was Edelman's second career touchdown reception.

The total drive spanned 1:45 with Brady connecting with Edelman, Deion Branch, Rob Gronkowski, Danny Woodhead and Wes Welker.

1:47 2d quarter: Ravens 14, Patriots 13 -- After a streaker held up game play on the field (luckily he had briefs on), Joe Flaccoc couldn't connect with Anquan Boldin but found tight end Dennis Pitta for a 20-yard touchdown.

Pitta split two Patriots defenders and half hurdled Steve Gregory to get into the end zone and give the Ravens the lead.

6:36 2d quarter: Patriots 13, Ravens 7 -- A direct snap to Danny Woodhead and a reverse to Julian Edelman resulted in a 13-yard loss and eventual punt for the Patriots.

Edelman got another carry on the drive, a reverse, for 8 yards. He also caught a pass for 18 yards and was flagged for false start.

10:07 2d quarter: Patriots 13, Ravens 7 -- Ravens QB Joe Flacco threw a 25-yard touchdown pass over Kyle Arrington's head to cap a 13-play drive that was riddled with penalties.

Jerod Mayo was flagged for a pass interference, the Ravens were flagged for false start and holding, and the Ravens also benefited from a successful challenge on a Flacco throw to Anquan Boldin that gave them a first down.

End of the 1st quarter: Patriots 13, Ravens 0 -- Devin McCourty almost had his first interception of the season after a Joe Flacco bomb sailed on him. As he was trying to pull it down, he was hit by Ravens receiver Torrey Smith, jarring it loose.

The Patriots look solid after one. They're beating the Ravens in total yards, 143 to 21. The Ravens have the ball headed into the second quarter.

0:38 1st quarter: Patriots 13, Ravens 0 -- Stephen Gostkowski appears to be rebounding nicely. He just booted a 49-yard field goal to put the Patriots up 13-0.

Julian Edelman was flagged for an offensive pass interference on a catch while going up against Cary Williams. It would've been a first down with the Patriots a little more than 10 yards away from the end zone. Afterward, things got a little testy between the two.

Before that, Tom Brady scrambled and had Haloti Ngata lay on him as he slid. It caused a little bit of fracas between Logan Mankins and Ngata.

5:15 1st quarter: Patriots 10, Ravens 0 -- Another three-and-out for the Ravens, with Chandler Jones chasing Joe Flacco out of the pocket on third down.

7:09 1st quarter: Patriots 10, Ravens 0 -- The Patriots turned to rookie running back Brandon Bolden at the goal line following Steve Gregory's interception, with the Ole Miss product punching it in from two yards out. Michael Hoomanawanui also registered his first catch for the Patriots.

It should also be noted that on Tom Brady's throw to Wes Welker before the team's field goal, he passed Joe Montana for career passing yards.

7:31 1st quarter: Patriots 3, Ravens 0 -- On Joe Flacco's second pass for Baltimore, Patriots safety Steve Gregory picked him on an attempt to Dennis Pitta.

7:52 1st quarter: Patriots 3, Ravens 0 -- Stephen Gostkowski kicked a 37-yard field goal to put the Patriots on the board first.

Ravens safety Ed Reed blew up Julian Edelman on a potential touchdown pass. The Patriots were helped down field by a 59-yard pass down the sideline to Wes Welker who appeared to be wide open before being dragged down by Bernard Pollard. It was an 8-play, 71-yard drive.

11:11 1st quarter: Patriots 0, Ravens 0 -- The Patriots held the Ravens to three-and-out after two runs by Ray Rice for four yards and a pass to Anquan Boldin for five.

12:53 1st quarter: Patriots 0, Ravens 0 -- A fumbled snap and a sack by Ravens linebacker Dannell Ellerbee on Tom Brady killed the Patriots' first drive.

15:00 1st quarter: Patriots 0, Ravens 0 -- The Ravens won the coin toss and will defer to the second half. The Patriots will receive. Ravens safety and former Patriots James Ihedigbo served as a captain for the Ravens at the coin toss.

Pregame: Patriots 0, Ravens 0 -- Alright folks. It's time for the Sunday night special with the Patriots taking on the Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. I'll be providing updates throughout the game. Feel free to join in on the conversation. Coin flip coming up soon.
