The Patriots are practicing today in full pads as they get ready for their regular-season opener next Sunday against the Titans.

There were four players not spotted during the media-access period: S Steve Gregory, RBs Shane Vereen and Danny Woodhead, and TE Visanthe Shiancoe.

TE Aaron Hernandez was out there, but as media were readying to walk onto the field, he walked down the stairs, back toward the locker room. He was not with a member of the training/medical staff.

RT Sebastian Vollmer returned after not being spotted on Friday, S Patrick Chung was in a red non-contact jersey, and G/C Nick McDonald was a shorts-wearing sideline observer.
