Week 3: Friday practice peek - Three missing

The Patriots are holding their final practice of the week on the fields behind Gillette Stadium, with players in shells and sweats.

Colleague Michael Whitmer says three players were not spotted during the media access window: Aaron Hernandez, Brandon Deaderick, and Justin Francis. All three are dealing with ankle injuries.

It would be a surprise to see any of the three in uniform come Sunday night; typically with the Pats, players must practice Friday in order to play on game day.
