The Patriots are holding practice today in full pads, as they have done each Thursday since the regular season began.

As was the case on Wednesday, there were five players not spotted, though they weren't the same five players.

Not spotted during the media-access window were Logan Mankins, Aaron Hernandez, Julian Edelman, Justin Francis and Kellen Winslow.

Brandon Deaderick, who did not practice on Wednesday, was back today; Winslow did practice Wednesday and was not listed on the injury report.

Winslow was spotted in the open locker room period for reporters, which was from 11:15 a.m. to noon.

As for Mankins, who is dealing with a hip injury, his absence for a second straight day may not be a good sign for his availability on Sunday.
