Week 4: Wednesday practice peek

The Patriots are holding their first on-field practice of the week on an overcast and breezy afternoon in Foxborough, with players in shells and shorts/pants.

There were five players not spotted during the media-access window: Julian Edelman, Logan Mankins, Brandon Deaderick, Aaron Hernandez and Justin Francis.

Edelman left Sunday night's game with a hand injury, and Mankins was limited last week in practice due to a hip injury, though he did play against the Ravens. Hernandez, Deaderick and Francis all missed Sunday's game with ankle injuries.
