FOXBOROUGH -- Patriots starting right guard Dan Connolly left Sunday's game against Buffalo with a back injury and did not return. Donald Thomas replaced Connolly during the second half.

In addition, Logan Mankins limped off the field early in the third quarter and was helped to the bench. His left ankle was looked at on the sideline, and Mankins eventually found his way to the locker room. Mankins also failed to return to the game and was replaced by Nick McDonald.
