The Patriots are holding their one practice this week that is open to media on the single field behind Gillette Stadium (where the Revolution normally practice).

There were three players not spotted: Aaron Hernandez, Kyle Arrington and Brandon Bolden.

Hernandez did not make the trip to London as he battles back from his ankle sprain; Arrington suffered a concussion early in the game against the Rams, and Bolden has not played or practiced since suffering an injury in Seattle.

Players were in full pads. However, Tracy White (foot) did not have a helmet or pads on. Trevor Scott and Steve Gregory returned to practice after missing last week.

There was also a new player, an unnamed receiver wearing No. 16. The Patriots have not yet announced a signing, but he's very likely filling the open spot on the practice squad.

Nick McDonald, Jeff Tarpinian and practice-squad fullback James Develin were in black as practice players of the week.
