FOXBOROUGH --- To seek shelter from the nor'easter that hit the region Wednesday, the Patriots conducted their second practice session of the week indoors at the Dana-Farber Field House where the players worked out in shorts and shells.

According to Globe colleague Michael Whitmer, three players were not spotted during the media access portion of practice, including running back Brandon Bolden (knee), linebacker Tracy White (foot), and defensive end Trevor Scott (hamstring).

Tight end Aaron Hernandez, who missed Tuesday's practice in full pads to be with his wife for the birth of their daughter, Avielle, on the occasion of his 23d birthday, was back at practice with the team.
